Overview

In order to get the broadest spectrum of cultures and worldviews and their take on happiness, our group decided to investigate the question with an emphasis on five major cultures. First, we focused on the three major religions of the world: Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism. Each religion has their respective view on happiness and where to find it. After investigating the religions, we investigated the western culture and its profound impact on the people living in North America and Europe. Following our investigation of the West, we chose a different culture and decided to investigate African’s view of happiness. The evidence we have acquired have come from credible sources and are accurate depictions of the cultures we present.
